These terms apply when you use tareekh.pages.dev ("Tareekh", "we"). By using the site you agree to them.
What Tareekh is
Tareekh makes a personalised keepsake poster about a date in India since 1 January 1950, as image files for printing and sharing.
Price and payment
Unlocking a date costs the price shown on the site before you pay (currently ₹49, one-time, including applicable taxes). One unlock covers one date: every design, both sizes, and any names or message you type for that date, on the browser you paid in (and on others via "Restore purchase"). While payments are not yet switched on, downloads are free and the site says so. Payments are processed by Razorpay. See refunds & delivery.
About the facts
Facts come from the sources named on the site and on each poster (World Bank Open Data, Wikipedia, BankBazaar's gold price history, and astronomical calculation for the moon). Money figures are yearly figures, not prices on that exact day. We check them carefully but can't guarantee every source is error-free; the poster is a keepsake, not a financial or legal record. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.
Your use of the posters
You may print, frame and share posters you make for personal use and gifting. Don't use Tareekh to make anything that pretends to be a real newspaper page, official document or record. "The Daily Tareekh" masthead is our own playful design and isn't affiliated with any publication.
What you type
You are responsible for the names and messages you put on a poster. Don't use it to harass anyone.
Availability
We work to keep Tareekh running but can't promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change.
Liability
Tareekh is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We'll update this page if the terms change; the date above shows the latest version.
